Deputy Governor Dr. Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe, accompanied by Commissioner for Human Services Hajia Rabi Salisu and Commissioner of Health Umma K. Ahmed, made this statement during a meeting with the Country Director of Save the Children International, Mr. Duncan Harvey, at Sir Kashim Ibrahim House in Kaduna. Dr. Balarabe highlighted the state’s efforts to increase school enrollment and improve completion rates, stressing that the Human Capital Development program is on track.

Mr. Harvey briefed the Deputy Governor on the organization’s activities in the state.

In a related event, Dr. Balarabe represented Governor Sen. Uba Sani as the Special Guest at the 34th combined convocation ceremony for officer cadets of the 71st regular course and postgraduate students at NDA Afaka, Kaduna State. She was accompanied by top government officials, including Hon. Commissioner for Human Services Hajia Rabi Salisu.

The Special Guest of Honor, Vice President Sen. Kashim Shettima, was represented by Dr. Ibrahim Abubakar Kana, Permanent Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Defence. Other dignitaries included Chief of Defence Staff General CG Musa, who represented the Minister of Defence, and various Service Chiefs and principal officers of the Nigerian Defence Academy.

The ceremony featured the awarding of certificates and prizes to 450 graduating cadets who excelled in academics.
