Kaduna State University Celebrates International Day for Universal Access to Information

Kaduna State University (KASU) joined the global community in commemorating the International Day for Universal Access to Information (IDUAI) on September 28, 2024.

This day was proclaimed by the 74th UN General Assembly in 2019 to recognize the vital role access to information plays in promoting informed decision-making, innovation, inclusivity, and social progress ¹[2).

To mark this occasion, KASU Library hosted a radio discussion on KASU FM, featuring esteemed speakers Dr. Esther Gani, Head of the Community Services Department, Madam Halima Usman, and Salma Shehu from the university library.
