Plateau State University Final Year Student Dies Four Days After Graduation
Asama Esther Akusuk Oyiku, an accounting student at Plateau State University (PLASU) Bokkos, has passed away just four days after completing her studies.

PLASU Bokkos is grieving the sudden loss of Asama Esther Akusuk Oyiku, an accounting student who recently signed out of the institution. Esther passed away only four days after her official sign-out, leaving the entire PLASITES community in deep sorrow.
In a heartfelt message, Tokkit Rhebet Andrew, the FASA Welfare Secretary, expressed profound sadness over Esther's passing. Andrew’s message highlighted the emotional impact of the news, emphasizing the heartbreak felt across the campus. “I’m deeply saddened by the news of the sudden demise of Asama Esther, who signed out just on Saturday. This is heartbreaking,” Andrew stated. “I pray that you find rest, Esther. My condolences to the family and to all PLASITES.”
The loss is being felt deeply within the university community, and support is being extended to Esther's family and fellow students during this difficult time.
