Kaduna State University Hosts NASA 29th Annual Conference on Governance and Social Transformation

The Nigerian Anthropological and Sociological Practitioners Association (NASA) held its 29th Annual Conference from 10th to 13th November 2024, at Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye. The theme of the conference was “Rebuilding Nigeria: Approach to Effective Governance and Social Transformation,” and it brought together scholars, practitioners, and policymakers to discuss Nigeria’s socio-political challenges.
Prof. Lanre Olutayo, former Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Ibadan, delivered the keynote address, emphasizing strategic approaches for effective governance and social transformation. Prof. Hauwa'u Evelyn Yusuf, President of NASA and a faculty member at Kaduna State University, opened the conference and highlighted the association's commitment to ethical research and national development.
