Kaduna State University Hosts Public Lecture on Educational Reform

Kaduna State University (KASU) held a pivotal public lecture on October 2, 2024, addressing the pressing need for educational reform in Nigeria. The lecture, titled "Reconfiguring the Nigerian University Landscape: A Critical Exploration of Pioneering Solutions for Sustainable Educational Reform," was delivered by Apostle (Dr.) Emmanuel Nuhu Kure, the Vision Pioneer of the Throne Room (Trust) Ministry Incorporation, Kafanchan.
The event took place at the Pharmacy Lecture Theatre and was presided over by Prof. Muhammad Bashir Ali, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Administration, who represented Vice-Chancellor Prof. Abdullahi Ibrahim Musa. He welcomed a diverse audience of staff and students, urging them to engage with the insights shared by Apostle Kure.
In his address, Apostle Kure emphasized the necessity for universities to adapt to the evolving needs of society. He highlighted the importance of both leadership and individuals in tackling community challenges and underscored the role of students as catalysts for positive change in Nigeria. He passionately stated, "Nigeria can be restructured through education, and may Nigeria never fail."
Elder Sunday A. Oibe, the event's Chairman, praised Apostle Kure for his profound contributions, expressing optimism for a revitalized Nigeria under the current university leadership. Haj. Khadijah Gambo from the Kaduna State Peace Commission also recognized the significance of the lecture, commending Kure's insights as a valued community member.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks from Prof. Bala Dogo, Chairman of the Inaugural and Seminar Committee, reflecting the lecture's impact on attendees.
