The University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), has declared a lecture-free day for all students on its Nsukka campus on October 4, 2024, in light of an important official visit.

The Senior Special Adviser to the President on Community Engagement (South-East), Barr. (Mrs.) Chioma Nweze, will be visiting the university to engage with both students and lecturers.

During the visit, Barr. Nweze will discuss matters related to the Federal Government Education Fund and various opportunities available to the academic community. The event will take place at the Princess Alexandra Auditorium (PAA), and all students are required to be seated by 9:00 AM to ensure full participation.

This announcement, made by Engr. Prof. Boniface O. Ugwuishiwu, Dean of the Students' Affairs Department, reflects the university's support for the program, aiming to maximize student engagement during the visit.
