Benue State University Issues Pre-Admission Requirements for 2024/2025 Session
Candidates applying to Benue State University with a 150+ UTME/Direct Entry score must upload O'level/A'level results at JAMB centers, with options to change programs or institutions.
The management of Benue State University (BSU) has issued important pre-admission guidelines for candidates applying for the 2024/2025 academic session. All candidates who scored 150 and above in the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) or applied through Direct Entry are required to visit the nearest Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) office or accredited Computer-Based Test (CBT) center to upload their O'level or A'level results without delay.
This process marks the first step in the university’s pre-admission exercise, and candidates are urged to act promptly in preparation for the Post-UTME registration and screening. Interested applicants who did not initially select Benue State University as their first choice but now wish to do so can change their institution preference by visiting a JAMB office or accredited CBT center.
Additionally, candidates can change their preferred programme within the university during this window. New programmes are now available in the Faculties of Architecture, Communication and Media Studies, and Technology and Industrial Studies, which candidates can explore by visiting the university’s official website, www.bsum.edu.ng.
The detailed guidelines for the Post-UTME/Direct Entry registration will be released soon. Applicants are advised to keep checking the university’s website and other media platforms for updates on admission procedures. All processes, including result uploads and changes in institutions or programmes, must be carried out in accordance with JAMB’s admission guidelines at accredited centers.
The Acting Registrar of Benue State University has emphasized the importance of completing these steps to ensure a smooth admission process for the upcoming academic session.
