Kaduna State University Vice-Chancellor Advocates for Safe Learning Environments
Prof. Abdullahi I. Musa, Vice-Chancellor of Kaduna State University, participated in the Nigeria Police Force Stakeholders' Forum on school security and the training of the Schools Protection Squad (SPS) in Kaduna State.

The forum, held at Murtala Square, Kaduna, on May 8-9, 2024, brought together stakeholders to address the pressing challenge of insecurity in educational institutions.
Prof. Musa emphasized the importance of providing a safe and conducive learning environment for students, stating, "It is crucial that our children receive functional education in a safe environment without fear of harassment." He commended the proactive approach of Kaduna State Governor, Sen. Uba Sani, in supporting educational access regardless of gender or tribe.

The Vice-Chancellor also praised the collaborative efforts of all stakeholders involved in ensuring the safety of learning environments. He acknowledged the vital role of the Nigeria Police Force and other security agencies in maintaining peace and security in schools.
The forum aimed to strengthen the partnership between educational institutions, security agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure the safety and security of students and staff.
