Kanam Students Association Condemns Recent Education Sector Attack

In a press release issued today, the Kanam Students Association (KANSA) has expressed its deep concern and condemnation regarding the recent attack on educational institutions in Azare State, particularly the Azare College of Education.

The Association, representing the interests of students, parents, and educators in the region, strongly condemns this brazen act of violence against our education sector. Education is the cornerstone of societal development, and any threat to it is an attack on our future.

The attack on Azare College of Education has left our academic community in shock and fear. We stand united against any form of violence and intimidation targeting educational institutions. We call upon the authorities to take swift and decisive action to bring the perpetrators to justice.

KANSA appreciates the ongoing efforts of security agencies to restore peace and security in the region. We urge them to intensify their operations to ensure the safety of our schools and students.

We also call on the government to prioritize the security of educational institutions and to allocate the necessary resources to safeguard our schools. Education should be a safe haven for students to learn and grow, and this should never be compromised.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims of this attack, and we extend our heartfelt condolences to their families. We stand together in solidarity, and we will not allow acts of violence to deter us from our pursuit of knowledge and progress.

We reiterate our commitment to promoting peace, unity, and education in Azare State, and we call on all stakeholders, including the community, to work together to ensure the safety and prosperity of our educational institutions.

Signed,
