Kano State Governor, Abba Yusuf, has officially reopened the Kano Informatics Institute, marking a significant milestone in the state's education sector. The institute, which had been closed for eight years under the previous administration, will resume academic activities immediately.

During the reopening ceremony, Governor Yusuf presented Letters of Admission to 250 new students and announced the purchase of 50 houses near the campus to serve as staff quarters.
