Kano State Governor Abba Yusuf Reopens Kano Informatics Institute

Kano State Governor, Abba Yusuf, has officially reopened the Kano Informatics Institute, marking a significant milestone in the state's education sector. The institute, which had been closed for eight years under the previous administration, will resume academic activities immediately.

During the reopening ceremony, Governor Yusuf presented Letters of Admission to 250 new students and announced the purchase of 50 houses near the campus to serve as staff quarters.

"The reopening of the Kano Informatics Institute demonstrates our administration's commitment to revitalizing education and driving digital economic growth in the state," Governor Yusuf stated.

The institute's reopening aligns with the state government's broader vision for a digital economy, aiming to equip students with essential skills for the rapidly changing global economy.
