KASU College of Science, Engineering and Computing Students Honour Provost

The College of Science Students Association, under the leadership of its President, Comrade Musa Habibu Yusuf commissioned their physical project named  Prof H.O. Aboh Study Garden. 

The auspicious event took place on Thursday, 7th September 2023. As explained by the president, the project was named in honour of the College Provost because of his track record of sacrifices made for the growth of the University.

He added, that the Provost deserved the honour as he is the first academic staff to be employed in KASU and called him a man of history.

Yusuf also stated that the study garden would provide the opportunity for students to socialise, and promote better student performance as well as an avenue for outdoor reading. 

Responding, the Provost applauded the effort of the Student Association and said the gesture would propel him to put more effort into the service of the College and the University at large. 

Prof. Aboh said history will be kind to them for honouring him.

The event had in attendance 

the Deputy Provost of the College, Dr. Abdullahi M. Nuhu, the Dean of Life Sciences, Prof. Ishaya Kato Auta, the Deputy Dean of the Student Affairs Division, Dr. Muhammad K. Dauda, the Dean of the Faculty of Computing, Dr. Muhammad Aminu, the Acting Dean, Faculty of Physical Sciences, Dr Cyril Afuwai, the College Secretary, Mrs Linda Ishaku-Barnabas, the University Public Relations Officer, Adamu Nuhu Bargo, the Executive and Parliamentary members of the Students Association (NASCES) and other students of the University.
