KASU Faces Calls for Due Process, Fairness in Case of Alumnus Dr. Al-Amin Sanusi Maikudi

KASU Faces has expressed solidarity with Dr. Al-Amin Sanusi Maikudi, a graduate of Kaduna State University (KASU), following reports of his arrest.  

In a statement, the platform said it is deeply concerned by the situation and the questions it has raised among students, alumni, and the general public.  

KASU Faces respectfully called on the relevant authorities to ensure that due process is upheld and that the matter is handled with fairness, transparency, and in accordance with the law. It added that if there is no lawful basis for his continued detention, it appeals for his immediate release.  

The platform also urged Kaduna State University, the Students’ Union, alumni associations, and all relevant stakeholders to engage constructively and support efforts aimed at ensuring justice and protecting the rights of members of the KASU community.  

“Our call is for justice, fairness, and respect for the rule of law. We remain hopeful that this matter will be resolved peacefully and justly. An injury to one member of our community is a concern to us all,” the statement read.
