KASU Holds Matriculation Ceremony for 1,250 Students of the School for Continuing Education
In a symbolic ceremony, Kaduna State University (KASU) hosted its matriculation ceremony for 1,250 undergraduate students of the School for Continuing Education on Wednesday, 3rd July 2024.

IIn a symbolic ceremony, Kaduna State University (KASU) hosted its matriculation ceremony for 1,250 undergraduate students of the School for Continuing Education on Wednesday, 3rd July 2024. The event, held at the university's Kakuri Campus, saw a gathering of eager students, staff members, and distinguished guests.
Representing the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Abdullahi Ibrahim Musa, was the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Academic, Prof. Yusha'u Ibrahim Ango, who underlined the significance of the occasion in his address. Prof. Ango commended the students for their dedication to pursuing higher education despite various challenges, urging them to make the most of the opportunities KASU offers. He highlighted the university's commitment to providing quality education and fostering a conducive learning environment for all students.

The solemn oath-taking ceremony, overseen by the University Registrar, Barr. Samira Balarabe, underscored the students' commitment to academic integrity and ethical conduct throughout their studies at KASU. The matriculation ceremony not only marked a formal induction into the KASU community but also served as a reminder of the university's mission to empower students through knowledge and innovation.
As the students embark on their educational journey, KASU reaffirms its dedication to nurturing future leaders who will contribute positively to society.

The ceremony also had in attendance the Dean of the School, Dr. Peter Adamu, his two Deputies, Dr. Sani Dari and Dr. Ahmed Usman, the Heads of Departments including Dr. Amir Ismail Daud (Department of Arts), Dr. Bello Idris (Department of Management Sciences), Dr. Sani Sani Ibrahim (Department of Social Sciences), and Dr. Khalid Haruna (Department of Science). Also present were the Chief Security Officer, Col. (Rtd) Ahmed Yabagyi, the Academic Secretary, Mrs. Amina Audu-Abutu, and other staff members of KASU.
