In a touching display of appreciation, final-year Accountancy students at Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH) surprised their class cleaner with gifts, leaving her overwhelmed with emotion.
A viral video captured the moment the students invited the woman into their classroom. As she entered, one student handed her a bottle of water, while others quickly stepped forward with various gifts. The cleaner, visibly moved, knelt in gratitude as more presents poured in.
Tears streamed down her face as she began praying for the students, touched by their kindness and recognition of her hard work. According to some students, the woman is known for her dedication, respect, and unwavering kindness towards everyone in the class.
"This woman here is a rare gem; her heart is so big, and she’s so loving. She treats everyone in class with respect. To top it off, she’s a very hardworking woman," one of the students said.
The heartwarming gesture has since gained traction online, with many commending the students for acknowledging the efforts of the cleaner, who plays a vital role in maintaining their learning environment.
