KASU Political Science Students Embark on Educational Excursion to Abuja

Students from the Department of Political Science and International Relations and Diplomacy, Kaduna State University (KASU), recently went on an insightful educational excursion to Abuja, reinforcing the university’s commitment to practical learning.

During their visit to the National Assembly, the students had the unique opportunity to study how the national assembly work and interact with legislators, including the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon Abbas Tajudeen Ph.D,  gaining firsthand experience of Nigeria’s legislative process. The group also visited the INEC Institute, where they participated in informative lectures on the institute’s electoral activities, expanding their understanding of Nigeria’s electoral system. Additionally, they toured the Shehu Musa Yar'Adua Centre, exploring the legacy of national leadership and governance.
