Katsina State Allocates N8.4 Billion for Renovation of 100 Secondary Schools

The Katsina State Government, through the Adolescent Girls Initiative for Learning and Empowerment (AGILE) project, has disbursed N8.4 billion to renovate 100 secondary schools. The event, held in Rimi Local Government Area, saw the presentation of cheques to School Based Management Committees (SBMCs) for phase three of the project.
AGILE Coordinator, Mr. Mustapha Shehu, announced the construction of 75 secondary schools to be commissioned by August 2024. Since the current administration's inception, AGILE has renovated 388 secondary schools in the state. An agreement with all benefiting schools at the state’s High Court ensures judicious use of the grants.
