The Management of Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu University, Kano (KHAIRUN), led by Vice-Chancellor Prof. Abdulrashid Garba, has received a delegation from the Enlightenment and Empowerment of Northern Women Initiative, headed by Ambassador Lami Bako Yakasai.
The delegation highlighted the organization’s commitment to educating young women on essential topics such as personal hygiene and expressed interest in collaborating with KHAIRUN to expand their outreach efforts.
Prof. Garba welcomed the opportunity for partnership, noting the significant potential for empowering KHAIRUN’s female students, who comprise more than half of the university’s total student population. He emphasized that such collaboration could greatly enhance health awareness among students and align with KHAIRUN’s mission to create a supportive and well-rounded learning environment.
