The event featured a speech by former Student Leader Adams AbdulrazaqOjonache, who emphasized the need to confront moral decadence in society. He called for staff members of Kogi State College of Education to take on mentorship roles to guide the association and its members toward positive growth.

Attendees enjoyed a range of activities, including dramatic performances and lectures from various speakers, reflecting the traditions of the Ankpa community.
A noteworthy highlight of the event was the recognition of the Provost of Kogi State College of Education, who received two awards: 'Icon of Education' and 'Most Performing Provost.' These awards acknowledged the Provost’s contributions to the educational sector.
