Kwara State Polytechnic hosted a two-day photojournalism workshop where 200L Mass Communication students enhanced their photography skills through hands-on sessions.
Last week, Kwara State Polytechnic's Mass Communication department hosted a dynamic two-day practical workshop in photojournalism for 200-level students. The sessions were led by a lecturer and assisted by an experienced instructor, who provided valuable insights into the world of visual storytelling.
The workshop covered various aspects of photography, including essential skills, shooting techniques, lighting, and visual storytelling. Participants gained hands-on experience by operating cameras and capturing images, which showcased their newly acquired skills.
“The practical session was an excellent opportunity for students to apply theoretical knowledge in a real-world setting,” stated the assistant instructor. The students demonstrated their proficiency by producing a range of impressive images, reflecting their understanding of the session's teachings.
Special thanks were extended to Mr. Balarabe Olufadi, the department's Staff Adviser and Course Instructor, for his trust and support in facilitating this enriching experience for the students.
