Kwara State Governor Awards N1m to Best 2023 WAEC Student
The Governor also inaugurated a Committee on Special Education, further demonstrating his administration’s commitment to enhancing education in the state.

Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has awarded N1 million to Master Shalom Adesina, a student of Rehoboth College, Ilorin, for his outstanding performance in the 2023 WAEC exams, where he scored distinctions in all subjects.
The award was presented by the Commissioner for Education, Hajia Sa'adatu Modibbo Kawu, during a meeting in Ilorin. The Governor, represented by the Commissioner, stated that the award aims to support and encourage Master Adesina in his academic pursuits.
