Lagos State University VC Holds Breakfast Meeting with Students' Union Leaders

The Vice-Chancellor of Lagos State University (LASU), Prof. Ibiyemi Ibilola Olatunji-Bello, held a breakfast meeting with the 35th LASUSU leaders on May 22, 2025.

The meeting aimed to discuss student welfare issues and foster a constructive dialogue between the university management and the student body.

The student leaders appreciated the VC's support and presented several requests on behalf of the students. The meeting discussed various matters, including the maintenance of the students' union arcade, security, and lighting in faculties on campus.

Prof. Olatunji-Bello assured the students' leaders that her administration would continue to create a conducive atmosphere for learning and skills development. She lauded the students' union for their cooperation and synergy with the university management.

The meeting was attended by key members of the university management and staff, demonstrating the VC's commitment to engaging with students and addressing their concerns.
