TETFUND Energy Audit Assessment Team Holds Exit Session at Library Conference Hall

On May 22, 2025, the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND) Energy Audit Assessment Team held their exit session at the Library Conference Hall of the institution, marking the conclusion of their energy audit visit.
During the session, the team leader and Director of Works and Services, Engineer Akande Hassan, stated that the purpose of their visit was to assess the institution’s power capacity, evaluate available land space, and recommend the most suitable type of power plant. He emphasized the importance of upgrading the energy infrastructure to support institutional growth and sustainability. He also expressed his appreciation for the warm hospitality extended to the team throughout their visit.
In his remarks, the Rector, Dr. Abdulrahman Aspita Ishaka, thanked the TETFUND committee for their visit and support. He highlighted the critical impact of inadequate power supply on academic activities, particularly on practical sessions that require stable electricity. He stressed the urgent need for improved energy solutions to enhance teaching and learning experiences. Dr. Ishaka also appreciated the Executive Governing Council and the entire management team for their support and cooperation. He concluded with prayers for the safe journey of the committee members as they returned to their various destinations.
The exit session reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to improving energy infrastructure in pursuit of academic excellence.
