Landmark University's life-applicable education system gained further recognition with the visit of MAX Africa representatives to launch their second internship programme. The collaboration underscores the university's reputation for producing graduates who excel in the workplace through competence, resilience, and leadership.  

Speaking during the visit, MAX Africa’s Chief Technology Officer, Mr. Olusegun Leigh, introduced the new internship initiative aimed at empowering young innovators in Africa's mobility sector. Highlighting Landmark’s alumni contributions, including Senior Product Manager at MAX, Mr. Kefas El-Olam, Leigh said, “Landmark graduates have proven their value with exceptional dedication and leadership, making them a natural choice for this new programme.”

MAX Africa’s Digital Strategist, Mr. Adewunmi Oshilaja, further praised Landmark graduates for their soft skills and professionalism, emphasizing the company's focus on developing well-rounded leaders. Meanwhile, Human Resource Manager, Mrs. Bosede Otaigbe, detailed the three-month internship program, which will provide technical and interpersonal training, with top performers offered full-time roles.  

Landmark University’s Vice-Chancellor expressed gratitude to MAX Africa for the collaboration, attributing the success of the university’s graduates to the visionary leadership of Chancellor Dr. David Oyedepo. He also highlighted Landmark’s recent recognition as Nigeria's second-best university in the Times Higher Education rankings.

The Registrar and other management members, including the Chaplain, Dean of Students, and Sub-Dean of Student Affairs, reaffirmed the university’s support for the partnership. MAX Africa’s delegation also included Mrs. Adebimpe Alabi, HRBP, Compensation & Benefits, and City Manager for Ilorin.
