LASU Sandwich Degree Programme, Assistant Director, stakeholders and students satisfied with the conduct, organization of the 2022 Mid-Modular Sandwich degree examination.
As the 2022 Mid-Modular examination of the Lagos State University (LASU) Sandwich Degree Programme comes to an end on Sunday, 23 July 2023, the Assistant Director, Directorate of Sandwich Degree Programme, Dr Ganiyu Ibikunle has expressed his satisfaction on the conduct, organisation as well as the process of the examination. Other stakeholders and the students have also commended the smooth process of the examination.

The Mid-Modular examination serves as a mock examination as well as a continuous assessment in preparation for the main examination, which comes up immediately the regular students conclude their examination.
The Mid-Modular examination started on Thursday, 20 July 2023 at the Computer Based Test (CBT) Centre, main campus, Ojo, Lagos.
On the sideline of the examination, which CIPR has been monitoring, Dr Ibikunle in a brief interview gave the conduct of the examination a high rating, appreciating the university management under the leadership of the Vice Chancellor,  Professor Ibiyemi *Olatunji-Bello*, mni, NPOM, for its support and providing an enabling environment. 

Speaking further, he applauded the leadership style of the Director, Sandwich Degree Programme, Prof. Femi *Adeogun* , and thanked the Staff of the Directorate, Audit and the students for their cooperation, so far.
"We are satisfied with the conduct and organisation of the 2022 Mid-Modular Sandwich examination. On behalf of the  Directorate of Sandwich Degree Programme, we say thank you to the VC and members of the university Management for the support and enabling environment. We appreciate the Audit team on monitoring exercise and our world class students for their cooperation. We thank the Chief Security Officer, CSP Wale Ojo (Rtd) and his team for their support towards this examination", he stated.
Also, he gave kudos to the Directorate of Information and Communication Technology (DICT) for its backend support, providing infrastructure and personnel.

Finally, he thanked the students for complying with the directives of the Directorate on the examination.
The examination is based on selected General Courses across all the Modules (1-5).
The leader, Audit Compliant Team, Mr Rafiu Hassan , on behalf of the team, also applauded the Directorate of Sandwich Degree Programme on the organisation of the examination and having observed the high level of compliance by the students.
He averred as follows "From the Directorate of Internal Audit, our purpose here is to sensitise our World class students on their responsibilities, paying 100% school fees. The University has a responsibility of providing qualitative education and on the part of the students, they are expected to fulfill their financial obligations, too, by paying their school fees in full, which to a large extent, from our monitoring, the students have complied with".

He further praised the Directorate of Sandwich on the organisation of the examination, adding that the structure put in place was good and the exercise was seamless. He wished the students best of luck.
