LASU and ICSS Partner for First Annual International Conference on National Security

The Institute of Criminology and Strategic Studies (ICSS), in collaboration with Lagos State University Consult (LASU Consult), announces its inaugural Annual International Conference on National Security. The conference aims to bridge the gap between theoretical insights and practical applications in the realm of national security.

The event is themed "Harmony In Security: Bridging The Gap Between Theory And Practice," with the tagline "Integrating Scholarly Insights With Operational Excellence." Scheduled from May 21st to May 24th, 2024, the conference will commence at 9:00 am at the Aderemi Makanjuola Lecture Theatre, Main Campus, Ojo, Lagos, and will be conducted in a hybrid format, combining physical and online participation.

The conference welcomes scholars, researchers, security personnel, policymakers, legal experts, and professionals from various fields including Criminology, Security Studies, Political Science, Law, and Public Administration, among others.

Registration fees are set at $200 for international participants, N30,000 for local participants, and N15,000 for students. Key dates to remember include the full paper submission deadline on May 15th, 2024, and PowerPoint submission from April 30th to May 18th, 2024.

The conference promises interactive workshops, simulations, panel discussions, debates, and a showcase of innovative security technologies. Attendees will also have networking and publication opportunities.
