LASU and Nigeria French Language Village Strengthen Strategic Partnership

The management of the Nigeria French Language Village (NFLV), Badagry, paid a courtesy visit to Lagos State University (LASU) on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, to solidify the long-standing collaboration between the two institutions.

The delegation, led by the Director/Chief Executive Officer of NFLV, Professor Samuel Oladipo Kolawole, met with the Vice-Chancellor of LASU, Professor Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, at the university’s main campus in Ojo.

Professor Kolawole emphasized that the core objective of the visit was to enhance mutual understanding and streamline future cooperation. He lauded LASU’s continuous support, which recently facilitated the promotion of seven NFLV staff members, and praised the institution for maintaining one of the best French Departments in the country.

A central point of discussion during the meeting was the formal renewal of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two academic bodies, following the expiration of the previous agreement.
