Organized by the Centre for Transport Studies of the University of Cape Town in collaboration with the Volvo Research and Educational Foundations (VREF), the conference provided a platform for researchers worldwide to share insights and solutions aimed at advancing transport research in Africa. Held from Tuesday, 5th to Thursday, 7th March 2024, at the Graduate Business School, University of Cape Town, the event boasted a world-class setting conducive to scholarly discourse.

The LASU delegation, comprising distinguished scholars and experts, made a significant impression at the conference.
