LASU Faculty Of Social Science Delievers Teaching Aids

Faculty of social science of the Lagos State University (LASU) takes delievery of teaching aids, donation made by Alhaji Mohammed Arotayo and was facilitated by Dr. Al-Hassan Bello an Alumnus of LASU.

The Faculty of Social Sciences was in joyous mood as it took delivery of teaching aids (Two 8ft by 4ft Big White Marker Board) on Tuesday, 30th May 2023 at the Faculty of Social Sciences Lecture Hall, Main Campus, Ojo, Lagos

The donation was made by a friend of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Alhaji Mohammed Arotayo and was facilitated by Dr. Al-Hassan Bello - an Alumnus of the Lagos State University.

The Acting Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences, Prof. Olufemi Lawal receiving the donation on behalf of the Faculty was full of excitement and in his remark said "...it's a pleasant surprise, getting a call from the facilitator about the donation. It also brought so much joy". 

Prof. Lawal appreciated the donor and called on individuals, group of individuals, corporate organizations and stakeholders in the "LASU Project" for more donations that will help the growth and development of not only the Faculty but the University as a whole.

The old teaching marker boards were immediately removed and the new ones put in place.

The students were extremely overwhelmed by the gesture and grateful to the donor for deeming it fit to bless the Faculty with the teaching aids.

In attendance at the brief presentation were :

Dr. Bolawale Odunaike, Sub - Dean, Prof. Olanrewaju Ajiboye, Prof. Fatai Ogunlana, Dr. Oluranti Samuel, Dr. Ade Adebayo, Head, Department of Geography, Dr. Adedeji Oyenuga, Dr. Moshood Abdul-Wasi and Dr. Jubril Jawando.
