The First Semester Examinations for full-time students in the 2025/2026 Academic Session at Lagos State University (LASU) are set to commence on Monday, 26th January 2026.

In preparation, the LASU Senate, at its 326th Statutory Meeting held on Thursday, 8th January 2026, approved a set of guidelines for all students participating in Computer-Based Test (CBT) examinations.

Students are required to adhere strictly to the following to ensure a smooth and orderly examination process:

  1. Holding Bay: The Buba Marwa Auditorium will serve as the holding bay for CBT students. Only those scheduled for CBT are permitted entry.
  2. Identification: Students must present valid University ID, Examination Docket, and CBT Examination Schedule for verification by invigilators.
  3. Timeliness: Students must follow the examination timetable and report at least 15 minutes before the scheduled time.
  4. Face Covering: Concealment or covering of the face is strictly prohibited during the examination.
  5. Orderliness: Maintain orderly queues at all times. Entry and exit will be regulated by invigilators, and instructions from officials must be obeyed.
  6. Reporting Clashes: Any clashes between CBT and non-CBT examinations, or other issues, must be reported before examinations begin to lecturers, course advisers, Heads of Department, or Deans/Sub-Deans.
  7. Emergencies: Students must comply promptly with instructions from authorized officials in case of emergencies.
  8. Exit Procedure: Students must leave the examination hall immediately upon completion and avoid loitering in the CBT Centre or holding bay.
  9. Health Advisory: Students are strongly advised to eat before the examination to prevent weakness or discomfort during the test.

LASU maintains a zero-tolerance policy for examination malpractice and any form of misconduct. All students are urged to comply fully to ensure a fair and seamless examination experience.
