LASUSTECH to Commence Indigeneship Verification Exercise

The Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH) is set to begin its indigeneship verification exercise, a crucial step in the 2024 admission process. This exercise is designed to verify the indigeneship status of candidates who have selected LASUSTECH as their first choice in the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
Indigeneship Verification Requirements
Candidates are required to present the following documents:
- Candidate's birth certificate
- Candidate's father's birth certificate
- Evidence of title to landed property
- Written testimony from the relevant Oba
- Written testimony from the secretary of the local government area
- State of origin certificate
- Original JAMB result
- O'level result
- Passport photograph

The indigeneship verification exercise is scheduled to begin in July. To be eligible, candidates must have selected LASUSTECH as their first choice in the 2024 UTME, scored 180 and above, and be indigenes of Lagos State.
