LAUTECH to Host 3rd International Conference on Advances in Cement and Concrete Research
The Cement and Concrete Research Group of LAUTECH, Ogbomoso, in collaboration with the Sustainable Green Concrete Research Group from the University of South Africa, is set to hold the 3rd International Conference on Advances in Cement and Concrete Research (ICACCR 2024)

The Cement and Concrete Research Group (CEMCON) of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, in collaboration with the Sustainable Green Concrete Research Group (SGCRG) from the University of South Africa (UNISA), is set to hold the 3rd International Conference on Advances in Cement and Concrete Research (ICACCR 2024). The conference is scheduled to take place from November 5 to 8, 2024, at The Great Hall, LAUTECH, Ogbomoso, with a hybrid option for virtual participation.
This year's theme is "Applications of Cement and Concrete Materials for Smart, Resilient, and Sustainable Infrastructures." The event will feature keynote speakers from various institutions, including Dr. Henry Otiworo Owusu Chiesa from the University of Pretoria, South Africa, and Prof. B.O. Oshota from LAUTECH, among others. The conference will explore innovative applications of concrete materials, focusing on smart and sustainable infrastructural solutions.
The distinguished guest of honor for the event will be Prof. Christian Olaniyan, Vice-Chancellor of LAUTECH, while Prof. Johnson Odesola, Executive Director of the Sustainable Green Concrete Research Group (SGCRG), will chair the sessions.
