MAAUN Signs Landmark MoU with Macau Digital Library for Enhanced Resource Sharing

The Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria (MAAUN) Group of Universities has entered into a groundbreaking Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Macau Digital Library Association (MDLA), China, aimed at boosting library resources and information exchange.

The virtual MoU signing, held on October 9, 2024, includes MAAUN Nigeria, MAAUN Niger-Maradi, and Franco-British International University (FBIU), Kaduna. This partnership will provide the universities access to the MDLA Digital Library Platform, enhancing teaching and learning opportunities.

MDLA President, Lori Luo, underscored the importance of the agreement, which formalizes collaboration in library resource sharing. University representatives, including Prof. Abdullahi Sabo Mohammed of FBIU and Prof. Rayyan Garba of MAAUN Niger-Maradi, welcomed the initiative as a significant advancement for the institutions.

Dr. Habib Awais Abubakar, Vice President of Administration, MAAUN Nigeria, highlighted the MoU’s role in facilitating better access to e-resources for students and faculty. The ceremony was attended by key university officials.
