Mac Arthur Foundation donates laptops to KASU

The Vice-Chancellor of Kaduna State University,  Prof. Abdullahi Ibrahim Musa on Monday, 18th December 2023 received a donation of laptops from the Mac Arthur Foundation in his office.

In his presentation, Vice-Chancellor of Federal University Kashere, Gombe State, Prof. Umaru Pate represented by Dr. Abdullahi Musa Yola said the gesture through the foundation is part of support to Mass Communication course.

He said KASU is the thirty-seventh beneficiary of about seven hundred computers being given from the grant.

In his remarks, Prof. Abdullahi Musa on behalf of the Management, Senate and the department sincerely expressed gratitude to Prof. Pate for thinking out of the box which very few people are doing.

In attendance were the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Academics, Prof. Yusha'u Ango, Deputy Vice-Chancellor Strategy, Innovation and Service Delivery, Prof. Helen A. Andow and Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Administration, Prof. Muhammad Bashir Ali who led the delegation of the Mass Communication Department comprising the Acting Head, Mal. Umar Sani Hanwa and a staff of the Department, Yusuf Adamu. Also, Director, Academic Planning, Dr. Auwal Abdulsalam was present.
