Madonna University Nigeria Welcomes Tetfund and NUC Accreditation Team
Dr. Noel Abiodun Saliu and Mr. Jubilant Eruogi, representatives of the National Universities Commission (NUC) and the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND), visited Madonna University Nigeria on an accreditation exercise after the institution was selected as a tenable institution of studies for the local component of the TETFUND Scholarship for Academic Staff (TSAS).

Dr. Noel Abiodun Saliu and Mr. Jubilant Eruogi, representatives of the National Universities Commission (NUC) and the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND), visited Madonna University Nigeria on an accreditation exercise after the institution was selected as a tenable institution of studies for the local component of the TETFUND Scholarship for Academic Staff (TSAS).
This development follows the recent suspension of the foreign component of the TSAS, a decision aimed at encouraging local content, boosting investment, and strengthening capacity in Nigerian institutions.
As part of this initiative, TETFUND is reviewing and accrediting institutions eligible to serve as tenable centres for the local scholarship scheme, with a focus on ensuring timely graduation and the maintenance of international educational standards.
In line with this review, the Fund has extended consideration to selected private universities in addition to public ones. Madonna University Nigeria proudly stands among the private institutions deemed fit and approved for the programme.
