MAU Leadership Seeks Ministerial Support to Address Infrastructural Deficit
In a renewed drive to address infrastructural challenges and strengthen collaboration across ministries and departments of the Federation, the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council of Modibbo Adama University, Yola, His Excellency Alhaji Mahmoud Aliyu Shinkafi, alongside the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Ibrahim Umar, paid a courtesy visit to the Honourable Minister of State for Regional Development, H.E. Uba Maigari Ahmadu.
The visit was aimed at seeking ministerial support and partnership towards bridging the infrastructural gap in the university. The Pro-Chancellor and the Vice-Chancellor emphasized that the institution is committed to improving teaching, learning, and research facilities and that such support is critical to achieving the University’s vision.
In his remarks, the Honourable Minister, H.E. Uba Maigari Ahmadu assured the university leadership of his ministry’s commitment to supporting Modibbo Adama University in every possible way.
He commended the Pro-Chancellor and the Vice-Chancellor for their proactive efforts and pledged to render all necessary support required to strengthen the institution’s infrastructure and overall development.
This initiative reflects the University’s determination to expand its network of support and create a more enabling environment for students, staff, and the wider community.
The Pro-Chancellor and the Vice-Chancellor reaffirmed their commitment to working tirelessly in securing the needed interventions that will transform the University into a centre of excellence.
