McPherson University recently welcomed the National Universities Commission (NUC) accreditation team for the evaluation of its Business Administration Programme.

The visit formed part of the Commission’s ongoing quality assurance exercises to ensure Nigerian university programmes meet required standards of relevance and excellence.

The NUC team, comprising Professor Abdu Jafar Bambale from Bayero University, Kano; Professor Patrick Oladele from the Federal University, Oye-Ekiti; and Dr. Kevin Longter Parlong from NUC, assessed the programme’s curriculum, staffing, learning resources, and facilities.

Acting Vice-Chancellor Professor Isaac Onigbinde received the team along with other principal officers, expressing appreciation for NUC’s dedication to promoting academic excellence and quality assurance. He assured the team that all observations and recommendations would be carefully considered to support continuous improvement in line with national and global standards.

The accreditation team commended McPherson University for its conducive learning environment, praising the University Library for its updated collections, including 2026 resources, and acknowledged the warm hospitality extended throughout the visit.
