MDCN Inducts 26 New Doctors at Edo University

The Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) has conducted the induction of 26 newly qualified doctors at Edo State University, Uzaire. Dr. Tajudeen Sanusi, the Registrar of the council, administered the Hippocratic Oath to the newly inducted doctors, emphasizing the importance of understanding and adhering to the medical code of ethics to prevent any violations.

Prof. Emmanuel Aluyor, the Vice Chancellor of the University, expressed his appreciation for the support received from the state government, particularly in the development of the university's medical college and the upgrading of the Teaching Hospital in Auchi.

During a lecture titled "Violence Against Healthcare Workers: The Role of the World Medical Association," Dr. Osahon Enabulele highlighted the challenges within the health system, where healthcare workers are still subjected to violence.
Dr. Kenneth Atoe, Acting Provost of the College of Medical Sciences of the University, encouraged the newly inducted doctors to be exemplary ambassadors of the medical profession.
