Dr. Daniel Ochu, a distinguished medical doctor and public health expert, has launched the establishment of the Dr. Ochu Daniel Legacy Scholarship at Abia State University Uturu (ABSU). In a heartfelt letter addressed to the Vice Chancellor, Dr. Ochu outlined his commitment to fostering academic excellence among future medical professionals.

Starting from next year, on June 16th—his birthday—Dr. Ochu will award scholarships totaling 100,000 naira each to the most outstanding male and female graduating medical students at ABSU. The scholarship aims to recognize exemplary academic performance, dedication to the medical profession, and contributions to the community.
