The Nigerian Association of Agricultural Students (NAAS), Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto (UDUS) Chapter, has secured a partnership with Haqqex Exchange to introduce a one-time scholarship grant for deserving students.
The grant, facilitated by Haqqex Exchange, aims to support 10 hardworking 200 and 300-level students in the Faculty of Agriculture by easing their financial burdens, particularly as exams approach. The scholarship will provide financial assistance to help recipients cover essential academic expenses such as textbooks, handouts, and study materials.
According to the association's president, AbdulAzeez Mubaraq Kilani, the initiative seeks to encourage academic excellence and allow beneficiaries to focus on exam preparation. The selection process will be fair and merit-based, with only 10 students selected based on set criteria.
The partnership aligns with Haqqex's commitment to supporting education and community development. The association plans to expand the scholarship to students in General Agriculture, Fishery, and Forestry within the faculty, based on academic performance.
