Nasarawa State University Commends Governor Sule Water Intervention Initiative

The Vice-Chancellor of Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), Professor Sa'adatu Hassan Liman, has commended the Governor of Nasarawa State, His Excellency Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule, for donating three solar-powered boreholes to the university.

The boreholes, located at the Pyanku Campus, aim to alleviate the water shortage experienced by students.

Professor Liman praised the initiative during an inspection of one of the borehole projects, highlighting the benefits of solar-powered boreholes, which guarantee constant water supply without relying on public power. She urged students to protect the projects from vandalism .

In a related development, the Vice-Chancellor, accompanied by university officials, inspected the ongoing perimeter fencing work at the Pyanku Campus. The multimillion-naira project, financed by the university administration, aims to enhance security and prevent encroachment by land grabbers. Professor Liman expressed satisfaction with the project's quality and pace, urging contractors to maintain agreed-upon standards and deadlines.
