Nasarawa State University, Keffi Initiates Engagement with EU Community: Briefs Slovakian Ambassador on New Learning Platform

In a proactive move to enhance international collaboration and academic engagement, Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK) has embarked on efforts to introduce the NSUK Institute for European Studies to the European Union (EU) Community in Nigeria and beyond.
On Wednesday, March 13th, 2024, the Comrade Vice-Chancellor, represented by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academic, the Director of the Brunon Holyst Institute of European Studies (BHIoES) and his Deputy, alongside the Director of Linkages & International Cooperation, held a strategic briefing session with the Slovakian Ambassador.
During the session, key representatives from NSUK provided an overview of the newly established NSUK Institute for European Studies and unveiled a groundbreaking new learning platform designed to foster academic exchange and collaboration between NSUK and the EU Community.
The initiative aims to strengthen institutional ties and promote mutual understanding between NSUK and the EU, leveraging the expertise and resources of both parties to advance research, teaching, and learning in European studies.
Furthermore, the NSUK delegation seized the opportunity to seek institutional support and partnership opportunities from the Slovakian Embassy and the wider EU community, emphasizing the university's commitment to fostering meaningful relationships and driving academic excellence on a global scale.
The engagement underscores NSUK's dedication to promoting internationalization and fostering cross-cultural dialogue, positioning the university as a hub for academic innovation and collaboration in European studies.
