National Open University of Nigeria Warns Students of Scammers Promising Guaranteed Graduation

The National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) has issued a warning to all students regarding fraudulent individuals who are targeting them with false promises of guaranteed graduation in exchange for money.

 

According to the university management, these scammers are operating under various false pretenses and are attempting to deceive students into making payments to personal bank accounts.

NOUN has emphasized that all official communications from the university to students are made through the university's official websites and Study Centres. The university will never ask students or applicants to make payments to individuals or to personal bank accounts.

To avoid falling victim to these scams, students are advised to follow the official payment procedures, which involve processing payments through the university's application and student management system (https://nouonline.nou.edu.ng)) and making payments via Remita.

 

NOUN has urged students to be vigilant and to report any suspicious activities or individuals to the university authorities immediately.
