A remarkable achievement shines on Nigeria as Aisha Abubakar Hussain, a young girl from Kano State, emerged as the second-place winner in the annual Dubai Quran memorization competition. This prestigious event, hosted by the Dubai Culture and Science Society, attracted participants from 50 countries, showcasing the global talent in Quranic recitation.

Aisha's exceptional recitation skills captivated the judges, positioning her ahead of competitors from 48 other nations. Despite the intense competition, her mastery of the Quran earned her recognition on an international scale.

The first place was secured by Aindati Sisi of Senegal, while Shima Anfal Tabani of Algeria claimed the third spot. Winners received generous rewards, with the top performer receiving 350,000 Dirhams, and the runners-up receiving 200,000 Dirhams and 150,000 Dirhams respectively.

In addition to Aisha's triumph, another Nigerian, Faith Odunsi, demonstrated excellence on the global stage by emerging as the Global Champion in Mathematics. Faith's remarkable performance in the Global Open Mathematics Tournament showcased Nigeria's prowess in academic competitions.
