The Nigerian Navy Ship (NNS) Delta has donated various educational and utility items to three primary schools in Warri South Local Government Area, Delta State, as part of its community outreach. The beneficiary schools—Nana Primary School, Ikengbuwa Primary School, and Ogiame Primary School—received essential equipment aimed at improving their learning environments.

The donated items include slasher machines for cutting grass, submersible pumping machines, overhead water tanks, generating sets, desks, whiteboards with markers, exercise books for pupils, and jotters for teachers. This generous contribution aligns with the Navy's "free educational rhapsody" initiative, designed to support schools by providing resources based on their specific needs.

While presenting the items, Commodore Abba Muhsin, Commander of NNS Delta, emphasized that this initiative was part of Operation Delta Sanity, a broader effort aimed at promoting stability in the maritime space. He highlighted the importance of education and urged pupils to be disciplined, diligent, and focused on their studies.

"The beneficiaries of these items are the young Nigerians who we hope will become the leaders of tomorrow. Our message to them is to prioritize education, stay disciplined, and work hard," Commodore Muhsin stated.

He also called on school management to properly maintain the donated items, assuring them that the Navy would continue supporting efforts to enhance the quality of education in the region.

Augustina Omatseye, the Education Secretary of Warri South Local Government Education Authority, expressed her gratitude to NNS Delta for its commitment to improving education. The head teachers of the three schools, Mawe Mofe (Nana Primary School), Okpaghoro (Ikengbuwa Primary School), and Mene Patience (Ogiame Primary School), also thanked the Navy for its contribution, pledging to utilize and maintain the items effectively for the benefit of their students.

This gesture by NNS Delta demonstrates the Navy's ongoing dedication to fostering education in local communities while contributing to the development of future leaders.
