Erite Ugboma, a talented student from Nile University of Nigeria, has been awarded the Best Oralist Prize at the recent International Humanitarian Law Moot competition held in Abuja.

Her exceptional oral advocacy skills and compelling arguments impressed the judges, showcasing her mastery of humanitarian law.

Erite and her teammates from Nile University of Nigeria emerged as the first-place winners, demonstrating the institution's commitment to academic excellence and practical training in International Humanitarian Law.

The team will represent Nigeria at the regional finals in Kenya, where they will face stiff competition from other top-performing teams.

International Humanitarian Law (IHL) moot competitions simulate court proceedings, allowing law students to develop their advocacy, research, and writing skills. Dedicated to human rights, this competition is held annually in Geneva, Switzerland .
