A team of 400-level Software Engineering students from Nile University of Nigeria has achieved a historic second-place finish at the THINKATHON 2025 competition, triumphing over a field of veteran software professionals and established technology firms. 

Tasked by the ThinkLab Group to develop a solution to prevent revenue leakage and minimize waste in procurement operations, TechZ created SPAMS.

AI-Powered Watchdog: Utilizes artificial intelligence to monitor and audit procurement activities in real-time.

Automated Transparency: Designed to automate corporate transparency and eliminate hidden procurement risks.

Waste Reduction: Directly addresses the reduction of operational waste and financial leakage in large-scale procurement environments.

Nile University celebrated the students as "architects of change," noting that they were the only student participants to place among seasoned industry professionals.
