Professor Isaac Butswat, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Administration at the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), has been honored with a meritorious leadership award for his service to God and the Body of Christ. The award was conferred on him by the Chapel of Victory, Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU), Bauchi, during its end-of-year thanksgiving service on Sunday, December 1, 2024.

The award, recognizing Prof. Butswat's exemplary leadership and contributions, was communicated through a letter dated November 29, 2024. The letter, signed by the Council Chairman, Deacon Prof. John E. Ochi, and Pastor Dr. Joseph Kalu Ufere, General Secretary, praised his dedication and sacrifice, emphasizing the lasting impact of his leadership on the Chapel’s foundational tenets.

Prof. Butswat had previously served as Chairman of the Chapel Council from 2004 to 2006.
