The Vice-Chancellor of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), Prof. Olufemi Peters, led a delegation from his management team on a courtesy visit to the Executive Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mr. Ola Olukoyede. The purpose of the visit, which took place on Friday, July 5, 2024, at the EFCC headquarters in Abuja, was to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at enhancing their joint initiatives in cybersecurity in order to combat cybercrimes.

During the meeting, both institutions reaffirmed their commitment to re-strategizing and strengthening the existing MoU to maximize its benefits in combating financial crimes through advanced cyber security and forensic studies.

Prof. Olufemi Peters underscored the longstanding relationship between NOUN and EFCC, highlighting their shared commitment to leveraging educational and investigative resources in addressing contemporary challenges.
