FUHSO Governing Council Honours APC National Chairman, Confers Idoma Cultural Recognition
The Governing Council of the Federal University of Health Sciences, Otukpo (FUHSO), Benue State, on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, paid a courtesy visit to the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Professor Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, at the party's National Headquarters in Abuja.

During the visit, the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the University's Governing Council, Professor Muhammed Salihu Audu, presented an Award of Recognition to Professor Yilwatda in appreciation of his contributions to the growth and development of the University.
Presenting the award, Professor Audu said:
"This award is presented to Professor Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), by the Governing Council of the Federal University of Health Sciences, Otukpo, Benue State, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the growth and development of FUHSO. It is presented this 29th day of July, 2026."
As part of the ceremony, the Vice-Chancellor of FUHSO, Professor Francis Aba Uba, adorned the APC National Chairman with traditional Idoma regalia.

Professor Uba said the symbolic decoration had, in essence, transformed Professor Yilwatda into "a son of the soil of Idoma," signifying the University's appreciation and the warm acceptance of the Idoma people.
