NSUK Appoints Dr. Ismaila Sulaiman as Sub-Dean, Student Affairs

The Vice-Chancellor of Nasarawa State University, Keffi, Professor Sa'adatu Hassan Liman, has approved the appointment of Dr. Alhaji Ismaila Sulaiman as Sub-Dean of Students’ Affairs. The appointment, effective from 8th November 2024, will run for one year.

Dr. Sulaiman, a scholar in the Department of Statistics, brings transformative leadership and a passion for student empowerment to the role. His appointment is part of a series of key leadership changes at the university.

In addition to Dr. Sulaiman’s appointment, the Vice-Chancellor also approved the re-appointment of Professor Benneth Colman Uzoechi as the Director of the Open Distance e-Learning (ODeL) Centre, effective for two years. Dr. Daniel Adamu was appointed Deputy Dean of Students’ Affairs, while Dr. Carole Nweze and Dr. Bilkisu Maijamma were re-appointed as Acting Heads of Biochemistry and Statistics, respectively.
